Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)

Overview

The Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)  is a retirement savings and investment plan. It is an essential part of FERS and a great supplement to CSRS.

Plan Participation

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in TSP contributing 5% of basic salary each pay period. Contributions are payroll deducted and placed into the traditional balance of the established TSP account.

Annual Limits

Contribution Changes

Unless you make a TSP election as a new employee on USAS Onboarding Manager, changes to your contributions are made in myPay. Changes to your TSP fund allocations are made through the TSP Account Access or by calling the ThriftLine (1-877-968-3778).
